I received a package of items from Baby Wisp for this review, all opinions are my own.
My babies are usually born with just barely enough hair to cover their head. Although I will say that Charlotte had quite a bit a hair when she was born. I love putting headbands and bows on my baby girls BUT sometimes it just bugs them and they really don’t want that on their head. I love the Mini Latch Clip from Baby Wisp because it’s made for babies with little or very thin hair!
The mini latch clip is made to stay in babies hair and they can’t pull it out! “Mini Latch Clips are a must-have if you have a bald beauty or a baby girl with very fine or barely any hair! She’s never mistaken for a boy again with these pretties adorning her little head! They really work and stay in. Read the reviews from real moms who love our products here on our most popular bow.
What makes them so awesome?
Mini latch clips are about 23mm long and 9 mm wide with teeny combs that weave and interlock into peach fuzz hair and hold on! It has a silicone grip to help keep the hair in the clip and prevent it from moving around. Baby Wisp® Mini Latch clips are branded to let you know they are lead, cadmium and mercury free! The bows and flowers are sewn in so they last soooo long too. Using them is easy – the hard part is choosing colours and styles because we have hundreds available!” (Baby Wisp Website)
I can’t wait to try these out on my baby girl! I also really love how many different bows, headbands, mini clips and hair accessories that Baby Wisp sells. I love that I can buy bows for all of my girls in the same place. Charlotte loves wearing headbands and of course anything pink is a must have! She loves “doing” her own hair and finding clips to put in. Baby Wisp sells some really fun clips and headbands that both of my girls can wear!
Baby Wisp also sells some really fun tutu’s, which I was sent for the baby!
“In 2007, my daughter was born.
She didn’t have much hair and was constantly mistaken for a boy. I didn’t like that. Though there were some very cool accessories I could find for her, I enjoyed creating beautiful yet simple hair accessories that had my own style stamp on it and coordinated perfectly with her outfits. I also didn’t want clips that fell out!
I had never been on mat leave before and after working hard on a career after University before ‘the baby’, I found that I needed to be engaged in something outside the home also…and a creative outlet, something mine. I leveraged my creative side to cut up tule, feathers, ribbon, satin, organza, sew on beads, bust out the hot glue gun and created some hilarious, some elegant, and some casual looks she could wear every day that clearly spelled out that SHE’S A GIRL! That’s what it means, when you see “Designed in Canada” on our products as I continue to be the chief creator of our hair accessories. I dedicate many many hours per week in my workshop figuring out the perfect dimensions, materials and high quality ways (like hand-stitching) of keeping our bows and clips lasting a long time and keep up with my commitment to launch trendy new baby hair accessories every season.
My success at Edmonton handmade markets and local farmer’s markets gave me the confidence to take this brand to the next level.
That’s how it started. Fast forward, 6 years – Baby Wisp® is a brand and product I’m proud of and a perfect fit for my current family life with national distribution and my own little shop in Toronto. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY TO VISIT BABYWISP.COM!
