I received this bassinet from Delta Children for my review. All opinions are my own.
My family was blessed with an incredible surprise when earlier this year I found out that I am expecting baby #3! I have struggled with infertility for so many years and this happy surprise was so unexpected and has warmed all of our hearts more than words can say. So I was very excited to receive the Delta Children Gliding Bassinet Garden Gate which is available at Walmart.

I always have my babies sleep in a bassinet for the first few months after they are born. I like having them right next to my bed, not only does it make night time feedings and diaper changes easier, it also provides me with peace of mind having the baby close by.
It comes in pieces in a box, so you have to assemble it. It wasn’t terribly hard, the instructions make it simple. It took me about 40 minutes to put it together by myself (and I’m pregnant). If you have someone help you I think that time could be shortened significantly.
Once assembled, I love the look of it. I like that the colors are very light and subtle so it will look nice in any room.
This bassinet has 4 wheels and can be rolled for easily moving it from one room to another. The wheels also lock into place if you want the bassinet to remain in one spot and not move. You simply lift the lever on the wheel up for rolling and press it down to lock into place.
Another great feature of this bassinet is that the bed part glides from side to side. So you can soothe baby with a rocking motion. If you don’t want it to rock (or glide) you can lock it underneath using the red levers on each side.
Here you can see the canopy open as well as closed. It has 2 adorable soft white bears for baby to watch.
There is a music module that connects to the side of the bassinet. It has a soothing night light you can turn on. It plays music and sounds (wind chimes) and you can adjust the volume level. Additionally it creates a vibration the makes the whole bassinet vibrate which can be nice for soothing baby. You can adjust the vibration level as well. It requires 4 AA batteries and they can easily be replace on the bottom of the bassinet, so you don’t have to remove the module to put fresh batteries in.
There is a big basket underneath the bed that can be used to store diapers, wipes, blankets, etc…I like that it has a divider in the middle to keep items separated as well.
My daughter had to try it out with one of her baby dolls 🙂 so cute!
Having this sweet bassinet is making me even more excited for my little bundle of joy to arrive in Nov. or Dec.! I really like it and can’t wait to see my adorable baby sleeping in it.
