When we think about the products we bring into our homes – those areas of safety and comfort – we cannot ignore the delicate balance between modernization and wellness. Clear links are now being proven between environmental degradation and the state of our health, according to the World Health Organization. On a daily basis, we are exposed to countless chemical contaminants, and we don’t know about the short or long-‐term effects of many of them, neither in isolation nor in combination with one another. What’s most disturbing is that often we are not even aware that we are being affected by theses contaminants, or of where these contaminants lurk. The government does not make it mandatory that they be listed on product labels since these small amounts are legally tolerated. The government considers this practice safe, but many groups, such as the Environmental Working Group, believe it jeopardizes everyone’s health, while also putting into question the health of the most vulnerable population – our children.

A study done by the Organic Consumer Association has revealed that even products identified as “bio” or “green” contain carcinogenic contaminants. Knowing that research now shows that 90% of cancer is linked to our lifestyle, it is essential, more than ever, to be conscious about our choices. Based on this realization, we set strict product development guidelines and regulations to assure that all the ingredients we use do not appear on the list of banned substances as found on Proposition 65 of the California Health and Safety Code.

Are you someone who chooses natural and hypoallergenic products for your kids and your home? I used to not think it was a huge deal, but the more I learn about chemicals and toxins that get into our homes and bodies from everyday products, the more I pay attention. So I was super excited when I found out about ATTITUDE Living and their amazing cleaning and home products for the whole family!

They have a HUGE selection of just about anything you need to keep yourself, your kids, and your house clean and fresh. And of course, they use ONLY the safest and purest ingredients. While you can’t protect your kids from the whole world, you do make a choice when it comes to what they are exposed to in your house. I was able to review the Soothing Chamomile line- so fabulous! Anything from this line would make a great, practical gift for new parents. It smells great, and helps them keep their new baby safe and healthy. I really loved the fabric refresher- I sprayed it everywhere, and my house smelled A LOT better, and I don’t have to worry that there were icky chemicals left behind. Win/win. I am a huge fan of Attitude Living, and I know you will be too!
