I was invited on an expenses paid trip to LA by Disney to cover the #CinderellaEvent in exchange for my posts of the trip experiences. I attended the red carpet premiere at El Capitan Theare. I received a hair styling, makeup touch up, accessories, and a swag bag from JCPenney at the Glam Ball they hosted in exchange for posting about my experience. Sydney’s Closet sent me a dress to wear to the Cinderella premiere and share my experience wearing it. All opinions are my own.
To get ready for the Red Carpet Premiere at the El Capitan Theatre, I first got all glammed up by JCPenney at their Glam Ball, you can read all about my experience here.
Then it was time to step onto the red carpet at the World Premiere of Disney’s Cinderella at the El Capitan Theater!
It was an incredible feeling stepping out onto the red carpet. Seeing all the press, the stars, it was very exciting! I have seen so many red carpet events on TV and to actually be at one was a dream come true!
First star sighting of the night, Darcy Rose Byrnes who voices Princess Amber in Sophia the First. You may also remember her as Penny Scavo on Desperate Housewives.
Here I am on the Red Carpet! My dress is from Sydney’s Closet. My hair, makeup, and accessories by JCPenney.
My friend Jenn and I looking glamorous on the red carpet (her blog is JenUnplugged, check it out).
I had to grab a quick selfie of myself on the red carpet, I was so excited and grateful to be there!
Here is a look back at the red carpet after I finished walking it.
The Stars of Cinderella looked amazing!
Here is Lily James (Cinderella) and Richard Madden (Prince). I just love their chemistry both in the movie and as well as in person.

I absolutely love this pic of Grumpy Cat and Sarah Hyland (ABC’s Modern Family) from the red carpet so I had to share that as well.

Then it was time for the premiere party before the screening began. It was a very amazing experience! There were people dressed up on stilts, jugglers on stilts, trumpet players, fantastic food and drinks. They even a few stations where you could get a Silhouette cut out of yourself (a Disneyland classic), nail painting, and temporary tatoos. Fun! Best of all was being able to among so many fabulous Celebrities and Hollywood talent.
Guess who I ran into at the party? Yep Olaf! Josh Gad himself. I had to get a selfie with my favorite snowman! Olaf returns in Frozen Fever, the new Disney short that plays before Cinderella in theaters March 13th.
There were also several photo opps available during the party as well. Here are my photos from those.
