We are so lucky that my son’s school has all the money and supplies it needs for the school year, #SaidNoSchoolEver! The truth is school’s don’t have everything they need and budgets are generally lower than optimal. Schools need updated equipment and supplies, and a lot of teachers end up paying for supplies out of their own pockets. Watch this funny video about this…Hefty / Teachers / #SaidNoSchoolEver
Schools need all the extra help they can get. We like to help our school out and one of the easiest ways to help is to clip box tops from the eligible products we use. My kids snacks and cereals are the common products, and most people know about those, but did you know that you can collect box tops off your Hefty trash bags boxes? Yep, Hefty is the only trash bag that supports Box Tops for Education. I think that is really awesome that they are participating and helping schools.
Each box top is worth 10 cents to your child’s school, and school’s are eligible to earn up to $20,00 a year. All you have to do is clip the eligible box tops and turn them into your child’s school.
My son likes collecting the box tops and turning them into his school. He evens asks grandma to clip them and save them for him. Family members who don’t have kids in school are a great help, so enlist them to save them for you. He does such a good job at collecting box tops that his grade just won the challenge at his school for turning in the most box tops. They won a pizza party! How fun is that?! He is so happy and proud to be doing his part to help his school.
Here is a fun Printable Box Tops Collection Sheet you can use to make collecting box tops even more fun for your kids. It is also a great way to keep them organized and easy to turn in to your child’s teacher and school. Click on the image or link to open in a new window and print from there.
So if you aren’t already, start collecting those box tops for your school. Every one helps!
