Adventure Time is a favorite cartoon of my 13 yr old son Cody, to watch on TV. So I immediately thought of him when I was asked to review Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season on Blu-Ray and said yes. He loves to watch Adventure Time after he comes home from school and has finished his homework. I knew that this would be a great addition to his own Blu-Ray collection to watch in the car or at home. I was really excited to surprise him with because most of the time lately the surprises have been for the younger siblings. He has also been doing really well for his first year in middle school so he deserved it.
The Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season on Blu-ray arrived fairly fast. The blu-ray arrives in a BMO slide on case for the packaging. When Cody saw this he started to jump up and down because he recognized it immediately. He was so happy to be able to watch some of his favorite episodes whenever he wants and where ever he is. Especially since for the holidays he got his very own portable blu-ray and DVD player. So Cody decides to play it right away downstairs and searches right away for his favorite episode. It was the one where Fionna has the responsibility of keeping Prince Gumball safe from the Ice Queen.Taylor, my 4 year old, and myself watched this episode with Cody and now Taylor is saying that his favorite cartoon has become Adventure Time. It was a really cute episode but a little sad as well. It brought me back to high school in a way and the mean tricks some girls can play on each other to get what they want. It was a fun episode as were all the episodes on the DVD.
Over the next few days I think my kids tried to watch The Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season as much as they possibly could without getting into trouble by mommy for watching too much television. We watched as Science the Rat saves everyone from being Zombies forever. We watched as the Ice King told stories and made silly threats. I laughed the most I think at the fact that there is a talking donut with arms and legs and a unicorn head attached to a rainbow I think.?. Adventure Time is really a fun show to watch for adults as well as children I think. Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season has made a great addition to our whole families Blu-Ray Collection.
