Perfect Portions Digital Scale + Nutrition Facts Display, Silver Review

I am not one that really counts my calories, I do like to watch what I eat by monitoring portion control. I also like to have a treat once in awhile! I received the Perfect Portions Digital Scale + Nutrition Facts Display in Silver from Perfect Portions and on behalf of Tomoson. All opinions given are my own.

I have mentioned before that my husband and I ….mostly my husband are trying to eat less and excercise more. My husband has been doing a great job of that! I don’t eat a ton and I do like to have a treat every now and then. BUT I never really knew how many calories I was putting into my body. I love chocolate and when I received the Perfect Portions Digital Scale + Nutrition Facts Display I decided to test it out. I tested it out on a bunch of things. One of the food items I tested it on was a Ding Dong. I love those, they are chocolatey goodness with cream in the middle and a perfect snack. I thought how bad could it be….woops.

It actually wasn’t as bad as I thought! The scale was incredibly easy to use. It comes with a booklet that has over 2000 types of food and each food has a number assigned to it. All I have to do is plug the number into the scale add the food and it gives me Calories, Total Fat, Cholesterol, Sodium, etc. I also really love that I can save that item in the scale and not have to enter it all again the next time! My husband and I both really like that it is a sleek scale and doesn’t take up a bunch of room on the counter. I can also take into account bowls or plates and take away that weight so it only weighs the food!
