The Legend of Korra- Book Two: Spirits Now on Blu-ray and DVD
I love summer days outside spent with my family having fun while in the sun. The rainy summer days I could definitely do without. Thank goodness that I have stocked up on things to entertain my big family of high energy, easily bored children. A few weeks ago I was asked if I would review The Legend of Korra- Book two: Spirits Now on Blu-ray and DVD, which I quickly accepted knowing that my oldest son loves to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nickelodeon. My 5 year old son Taylor has developed an interest in watching the Airbender Cartoon series on Nickelodeon also and I hoped that the two of them might spend some more quality time together watching The Legend of Korra- Book Two: Spirits Now, before Cody becomes a full grown teenager. I have been trying to encourage their shared interests more now because the day is approaching fast that Cody will become “Too Cool” for the rest of his siblings and myself of course.
The package that held The Legend of Korra-Book 2- Spirits Now on Blu-Ray arrived within a few weeks after I was given the opportunity. Taylor, as always, opened the box first and ran straight to Cody’s room in order to share with him the new Avatar DVD that we had received. They were both so excited and surprised to see that we had gotten The Legend of Korra- Book 2: Spirits Now on Blu-Ray that they actually did everything they were supposed to do that day and more just to earn the privilege of staying up after bedtime in order to watch The Legend of Korra-Book 2: Spirits Now the same day. I was really proud of them and seeing that Taylor had learned that he could get something he wanted by earning the privilege just from watching Cody do it. They sat through the entire Blu-Ray without asking to pause it and finish the next day from being tired. Both of my boys really enjoyed the Blu-Ray and it has earned a round in our Family Movie/DVD/Blu-Ray Night at our home!
The Legend of Korra – Book Two: Spirits arrives on Blu-ray and DVD this summer. Six months after the events of Book One, a new journey begins with exciting new characters, villains and adventures in which Korra learns the story of the very first Avatar. The series was voted as IGN’s Best TV Animated Series in 2012 and was the only animated series on the annual list of iTunes Best TV Shows of 2013. The Legend of Korra – Book Two: Spirits Blu-ray and DVD, created by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution, is available July 1, 2014, for the suggested retail price of $34.99 (Blu-ray) and $19.99 (DVD). “About The Legend of Korra – Book Two: Spirits:

Complicating factors is the sudden appearance of mysterious Dark Spirits who are attacking the Southern Water Tribe people and Korra learns that even her Avatar State cannot defeat them.
