When asked if I wanted to review the Ubooly interactive pet for iphone, my inner child immediately jumped at the chance! Remember Tamagotchis? I was OBSESSED when I was younger, and they barely even did anything. Ubooly is an educational toy that talks. It’s absolutely fabulous. My kids had so much fun playing! It’s really easy to use- just Download the app, Customize for your child, Insert your device into the toy, Your kid has a new friend! Easy peasy. You customize the Ubooly online to already know your childs interests, favorite colors and foods, and much more. The interaction is truly endless… Ubooly tells stories, asks questions (like favorite color, food, if they know what the word “ecstatic” means, etc.), asks you to do things like jump over her, and even plays imaginary games like going fishing! I loved the fishing- Ubooly asked us to find something that looked like a rod, and go fishing with her! There were even water/lake sounds. She’s just absolutely adorable. My boys are learning new words, beginning to spell, and all about places like space and the ocean. You can play with the Ubooly in the toy, or just “in her box” aka, on your phone, where you can feed her, decorate her box, etc. You earn coins by playing with her. Using the Ubooly Lab, you can purchase credits to buy the different activities, such as space, oceans, addition, ABC’s, division, spelling, and much, much more! It’s a great toy to add into their play time, because its a great mix of educational, physical, and screen play. I love that I can hand it to them, and go and get something done, knowing my boys are learning and having fun at the same time! Thanks, Ubooly!
