Becoming pregnant is such an exciting time in life! The anticipation of holding that sweet baby, becoming a mom for the first time, or for the first time to that new baby. It’s a very fun time. It can also be a little overwhelming as well, like for example when you hear about how you need this much of this nutrient, and these vitamin supplements, etc…But it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Viactiv has created this great chart to show you the 5 main Nutrients you need during your pregnancy. Take a look…
Iron, Vitamin D, Calcium, Folic Acid, & Iodine are 5 very important nutrients you definitely need while you are pregnant. But don’t stress yourself out too much, just find ways to incorporate each one into your daily diet and routine. As always, be sure to talk with your healthcare provider before taking any supplement in pregnancy.
Did you know? In general, *approximately 68% of women are calcium deficient. That is a high number, and meeting your calcium needs is especially important during pregnancy.
A really easy way to be sure you are getting enough calcium is to take the Viactiv Calcium Soft Chews.
“Baby’s bones, teeth, heart, nerves and muscles depend on calcium for growth. It’s so essential, in fact, that if you don’t include enough calcium in your diet, your baby will start draining it from your bones… not ideal for either of you. The recommended amount of calcium during pregnancy is 1000mg daily, and most prenatal vitamins only contain 20-30% of the calcium you need. Viactiv Calcium Soft Chews are an easy and delicious way to make sure you’re getting the calcium you need. Available in milk chocolate and caramel flavors these soft chews have 100% of your daily recommended value in just two chews—plus Vitamin D and K! They are each individually wrapped so you can even toss them in your purse so you don’t forget. After all, one of the hardest parts of taking your daily vitamins and supplements is remembering to take them!“-Viactiv
I received both the Milk Chocolate and Caramel Chews to try. I like that they are very soft and easy to chew, I was worried about what the flavor would be like but I was pleasantly surprised that it actually tastes pretty good. It is actually the Best Calcium Supplement I have ever tasted. It is a really easy way to make sure I get enough calcium! I also like that they are individually wrapped so you can take your daily serving along with you if you are working or on the go.
