I went to an advanced screening of SING, all opinions are my own.
My girls and I were able to see SING a few weeks ago and we loved it! The girls loved all of the songs that the different animals would sing and of course all of the funny antics of the characters.
SING is a great movie for kids of all ages, it’s rated PG but perfect for families. My girls loved ASH the rocking porcupine played by Scarlett Johansson and Gunter the PIG that was born to dance! (played by Nick Kroll) SING is about a Koala that wanted to make his Dad’s dream for him of becoming a famous showman true. He fell in love with owning a theater but it didn’t work out exactly as he planned.
“Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.”
I love that the entire cast of SING animals big and small were able to come together and really put on an amazing show! SING can now be seen in theaters, it’s the perfect movie for Christmas Break!
