Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunt is a game that has been around a long time, yet remains a favorite. The best bit about the game is that it captures the imagination of children of all ages. The adrenaline involved in finding the next clue to get the treasure finally keeps the party going. Try making every child feel included in the game, by using color codes. This way, every child must find a clue that resonates with their assigned color. In the end, reward them all for their efforts, but let the winner have their cake and eat it.

The Scavenger Hunt is yet another adrenaline filled game that is highly popular as observed by the children party organisers who organise these events for the kids.
Egg and spoon race or sack race
Having kids compete with an egg on a spoon is the cutest thing ever. Children are very competitive, and therefore, they will give their best to be the first position. However, because most of them are clumsy at a young age, keep the distances relatively shirt. Further, group kids to compete against each other according to age, so that the younger ones do not feel intimidated by the older ones.
The sack race is a little similar to the egg and spoon race. The only difference is that the kids will be running without the egg and spoon, but while inside a sack. All players are put in a sack, and then as they are holding it up their wastes, they get to jump around and run to win the first place. However, you must anticipate a lot of falling; therefore, ensure the ground they are racing on is flat and free of sharp object and surfaces that can hurt them badly.
Pin the Tail on the Donkey
Put up a picture of a donkey on the wall, one without a tail. Ideally, it is a poster you can order from a store nearby or online. Then, blindfold the players, one at a time. Spin then round a couple of times and then let them place a ‘tail’ on the donkey. The winner is the kid who attaches the tail as close as possible to its rump as possible. You can change up the game as you want so that it does not have to be a donkey or even to be the tail they are attaching to the donkey.
Pass the Parcel
In this game, you choose a toy or snack that the kids love the most. Then, using several layers of paper, wrap the item in, and have the kids pass it around rotationally. As they are passing the parcel, have some music playing. At different intervals, pause the music, and the child that has the package at the moment can unwrap the paper in anticipation for what is inside. Ideally, the number of layers you wrap the parcel with should equal the number of kids you have in the game. However, to be fair to all the kids, ensure you wrap in different items in the different folds, so that every kid receives a reward for participating.
Duck, Duck, Goose
This easy game has all the kids sit in a circle cross-legged. From them, the first one to play the game becomes the ‘goose’, who gets to go around tapping every other player’s shoulder gently. For every pat of the shoulder, the child (‘goose’) has to say ‘duck’. At one point the child will stop at one of the other players, and instead of duck, this time they yell ‘goose’. This is the player that gets to chase them around the circle. If the child can make it around the circle and sit at the position of the other player, then he/she wins. The person who couldn’t catch them becomes the new goose. If caught, however, the child sits in the middle of the circle and the game continues as such.
