Medic games are pretty different. You should not expect realistic pictures of the surgery or intensive therapy. This is a complicated area, the medical students are learning at least six or seven years, and many disciplines are not understandable for an average gamer. That is why the funny games about the hospital are a pure rarity.
There are two main types of medic games. The first one is a parody, and the best example of it is The Surgeon Simulator. In this game, you meet a mass of silly moments. A start with the possibility to inject yourself with an anesthetic turns to an end when you need to have brainiac surgery right in the space. And the rookie surgeon still can leave gloves right in the skull.
The second type of these games is an arcade simulator like the Trauma Center. The Japanese series take their duties more seriously, but it is still an arcade. The broken bones are collecting together like a puzzle. Also, you have a magic green gel that fixes everything. The game itself is pretty old, and you’d better play one of the new free slots no downloads, not an antique PS2 title.
The merits of the first part
Two Point Hospital is an easy but challenging game. And this is not a paradox. The artistic style is Sims-like: very bright, cartoonish, and even a little bit silly, but this is a feature. At the same time, this tycoon game is made for nitpicks. The developers made an accurate simulator of daily routine in a small provincial hospital. Also, the game has a very American philosophy of life insurance. (Though, the authors of the franchise are from Britain). This means a balance between general humanity and profit. We can’t help the needed fellow persons without proper fundraising.
The first part of the franchise wasn’t a miracle, but it gives a solid impact. Two Point Hospital has a trusty community. The publisher of the game was Sega. This means proper tech support with accurate patches. Two Point Hospital is a good time killer. Many of the players want to have a funny sequel to the franchise, no doubt. What’s next?

Well, there was a fine old leak. Or the PR event from the developers. Who knows, and who really cares? We are talking about a game. It was meant to be funny. According to a new leaked story list, there will be a sequel named Two Point Campus. The developers’ team remains. It will work with the same style and in the same little city.
We don’t actually know about the new university. Will it be top-notch, like the Ivy League, or something like rural British colleges? Let’s wait for the final version of the game. If we think in the right direction, there will be a lot of potential mechanics. You can be like a mean dean or a great mentor for everyone in this temple of sciences.

- profiling their personal issues and merits;
- fulfill their desires (at the same time with the educational process, of course);
- standard crafting of buildings and various places of activity;
- you will hire and manage the best university staff you can find;

As you can see, Two Point Campus will be a pretty arcade. Nobody loves bureaucracy. The game must be entertaining in the first place. The general manager in this title has the powers of the local god. Remember the Black and White series? This experience is similar. Your students and staff have free will and conscience, of course. But to reach the stars, you must guide all of them.
Two Point Campus will give the players some sandbox innovations. This game is even more Sims-like than before. The ”dummies” will walk around the world for the first time in the series. Also, you have to design and decorate all the favorite places of your puppets. It is a classic game mechanic so-called “managing happiness“.
The teaching courses will be funny, abstract, and a little bit clumsy. You can’t count on a full academic simulator in Two Point County, of course. Still, the students here enjoy a bold and endeavor Knight School, or the rich and luxurious Gastronomy. The authors are making the feature of the student life – having an unstoppable fun and joy of youth.
According to the conception, you should be waiting for some DLC that will be able to enlarge the core experience and make the adventures even more dynamic. Of course, there will be an economic conception for the long-living and prospering of the college. The new manager is a friend of all students, but the discipline shall prevail!
