I was invited by Disney on an all expenses paid trip to cover the #Cars3Bluray and #HalloweenTime at Disneyland. I received free admission to Disney’s California Adventure and a tour guide at the park. All opinions are my own.
I got to visit Disney’s California Adventure to see it all decked out for #HalloweenTime! This is the first year that California Adventure has incorporated Halloween decor and rides into CARS LAND.
In honor of Cars 3, we spent a lot of our time in CARS LAND which is celebrating Haul-O-Ween right now. Which by the way, CARS 3 is now available on Digital! Visit DisneyMoviesAnywhere.com to purchase. (Cars 3 will be available on Blu-ray on November 7, 2017.)
I absolutely loved seeing all of the fun new decorations. Disney did an excellent job on the decor. Complete with Gas Can Spiders!
New for Haul-O-Ween is Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree “where guests will whirl around the graveyard to the tune of creepy new songs and fun haunted twists on favorites such as “Monster Truck Smash” and “Welcome to Radiator Screams.” And Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween “an all-new spooktacular dance celebration where Luigi and Guido will entertain the Cugini (cousins) with Halloween twists on traditional Italian festival songs like the “Terror-antella,” “The Chop Top of Carsoli” and more.”
We also had dinner at Flo’s V8 Cafe and the food was delish! I got the Turkey Dip Sandwich, yum! They have really fun Halloween themed desserts right now as well.
Outside of CARS LAND, the park has decor and lights added, and even Halloween music and sound effects.
Also, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Break Out has been changed to “Monsters After Dark” and I had a lot of fun seeing the new decor and how the ride is changed for this. Very cool.
Disney has done a great job of bringing, even more, Halloween Time fun to this park. I definitely recommend visiting if you can. And if you are planning a visit, be sure to take advantage of the new Disneyland MaxPass.
1.Get Unlimited Disney PhotoPass Downloads for the Day – Share an entire day’s worth of Disney PhotoPass memories with family and friends! You’ll even be able to access photos taken on select attractions and during select Character dining experiences. Magic Shots are also included. Simply ask your Disney PhotoPass Photographer to pose you for a Magic Shot, and a select Disney Character or fun surprise will appear in your photo after it’s taken.
2. Make FASTPASS Selections from Your Mobile Device While You’re in the Parks – With this electronic option, you won’t need to walk over to a kiosk to secure a FASTPASS entitlement—you can simply make a FASTPASS selection (subject to availability) using the Disneyland app and then scan your code at the entrance when it’s time to experience the attraction.
It is $10 per day per person, but it is definitely worth the money in my opinion since not only will you not have to run around the park to get FastPasses, you will also get all of the high-resolution images you take in the park (that includes pics taken on the attractions as well.). It’s a great deal. Learn more about the MaxPass here.
After we checked out California Adventure and had an absolute blast, we headed over to Disneyland so we could ride The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy! Those are two must ride rides at Disneyland for Halloween Time.
It was a total blast! Thanks again to Disney for inviting me to such a fun event.
