With cold and flu season about to start, now is the time to make sure you are prepared. I like to make sure I have the common medicines needed and items for comfort already purchased so when my kids get sick I don’t have to run out to the store.
As a mom, some of the scariest moments for me have been when my child has a fever. Up until now I have only known about oral Acetaminophen for infants, toddlers and children. So I was happy to learn that there is another alternative, FeverAll® Acetaminophen Suppositories. “FeverAll is the only acetaminophen brand with dosing instructions for children as young as six months of age. It’s ideal to have on hand for children in situations or with conditions that make oral administration of liquid acetaminophen difficult such as vomiting nausea, fussiness or other health issues.”-FeverAll
With infants, toddlers and children, it can often be a struggle to get them to take an oral medication, at least that is how it has been in my experience. And usually they end up spitting at least some of it back out. I like the idea of being able to administer the Acetaminophen quickly and easily and knowing that my baby or toddler is getting the full dose.

Here are some Be Fever-Ready Facts from FeverAll:
- According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, fever in babies begins at 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Of course, call your physician about any concerns with fever in your child.
- Using a digital rectal thermometer will provide the most accurate reading of a baby’s temperature.
- Be prepared! Make sure you have acetaminophen in both liquid and suppository forms on-hand for the cold/flu season. In the event your child is unable or unwilling to swallow oral medication, an acetaminophen suppository is a safe alternative to the liquid form and always provides an accurate dose with no mess.
- Just because your child feels warm doesn’t mean they have a fever. Caregivers can overdress babies, even in colder weather, which can actually make them hot and fussy. Always confirm with a rectal temperature reading before administering any fever-reducing medication.
- When dealing with fever, how your child looks is as important as the child’s temperature.
- Fever isn’t something to fear. It simply means the body is doing its natural job of fighting off an infection.
- Contact your pediatrician with any questions about your children’s fever, particularly if your child is younger than six months of age.
I received a great little pack with FeverAll, a rectal thermometer and a cute little Teddy Bear lovey. It is the perfect to have on hand right now since I am expecting a baby. I like knowing that once baby is 6 months I can use FeverAll should the need arise.
Why FeverAll?

- FeverAll® Infants’ Strength Suppositories (80 mg of acetaminophen) is the only acetaminophen product available with dosage instructions for children as young as six months of age.

- FeverAll® Acetaminophen Suppositories are an important option for caregivers because:
