My movie tickets and my compensation for posting is provided by Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime. All opinions are my own.
My family and I were very excited to see Disney’s ZOOTOPIA. Even better, was that we got to see it in Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime! We were at the AMC Desert Ridge 18 theater in Phoenix. They gave the kids Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps headbands (so cute and fun!).
This theater was so nice! Let me start by saying that the sound was amazing. So clear and powerful. The seats even rumbled along with the movie. Like when an elephant walked by in Zootopia, etc… It wasn’t too much rumble to be annoying, just the right amount to make the viewing experience really cool. My 3 year old daughter giggled each time the seat did it, she thought it was awesome. The screen picture was so crisp and looked amazing and vibrant with color.
The seats were super comfortable and even recline! My husband and I especially loved the seats, and how comfortable they were for us. You almost feel like you’re at home watching a movie, (if your home had an amazing theater system) because it is so comfortable.
Here is a video I took of the theater before the movie started…
I also loved the grab and go concessions, it made getting our movie treats and snacks a breeze. Yum!
Disney’s Zootopia did not disappoint at all, it was fantastic! My kids were glued and loved the characters. My husband and I thought it was quite funny and my husband mentioned afterwards that he thinks he laughed more than our kids. I think we did laugh more than then, I actually was surprised by how much I laughed. I laughed a lot! And I appreciate the type of adult humor that Disney used. It was funny for the adults but still appropriate for kids to hear. Loved that.
I enjoyed Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman as the voices of the main characters (Judy Hopps & Nick Wilde), they did a great job and I think they were the perfect choices for these characters. Besides all of the fun and laughs this movie provided, this movie had a great message for kids. You can be anything you want. And, to not judge a person (or animal) by the way they look or for who they are. I loved the positive messages. This is a movie I can’t wait to own. It was great.
I definitely recommend Zootopia, go see it as a family since everyone will enjoy it. And be sure to see it in Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime, it is the best experience.

“The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia,” a comedy-adventure directed by Byron Howard (“Tangled,” “Bolt”) and Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph,” “The Simpsons”) and co-directed by Jared Bush (“Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero”), opens in theaters on March 4, 2016.”-Disney
