I received a custom teeth whitening kit from Smile Brilliant for my review. All opinions are my own.
I have been wanting to whiten my teeth for a while now. I was thinking about heading to my dentist to get trays made so I could whiten my teeth. But then I heard about Smile Brilliant. They make custom trays for you and it is a really easy process. You don’t have to visit a dentist!
The first step to making my Custom Teeth Whitening Trays was to wait for my Smile Brilliant kit to arrive. It came quickly.
Along with everything I needed to make impressions of my teeth it also included my whitening gel syringes. It has great detailed instructions that show you step by step how to take impressions of your teeth. Don’t freak out. It is easy. And they give you extra product in case you need to re-make one (as I did).
It was a pretty simple process and my first try didn’t work as well as I had hoped but since I had an extra set of product to make another impression, I just redid it. They turned out well and it was time for me to mail them off to Smile Brilliant. Don’t worry about postage costs, they have included a pre-paid label in your kit.
Smile Brilliant sent me a confirmation once they received my teeth impressions and began making my trays.
I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my custom trays arrived. They fit well and it was time to whiten my teeth!
You simply line the front of your trays with one small line of whitening gel and then insert. You can whiten for up to 3 hours at a time. If it is your first time whitening I recommend starting out with shorter time periods to make sure your teeth don’t get to sensitive. I already know how sensitive my teeth are (due to whitening in the past) so I only whitened for 15 minutes my first time and worked my way up to 30 minutes every other day or two.
If you have sensitive teeth, another product I highly recommend adding onto your kit is the desensitizing gel syringes. I used these each time after I whitening and I hardly had any sensitivity at all. Normally I have at least an ache, but because of this gel I didn’t. It is a must have add on for me.
I was very happy with my results. I went about 1 to 2 shades whiter and I love the difference it makes!
