I attended an advanced screening of this movie thanks to Disney. All opinions are my own.
My 6 year old loves anything and everything Super Heroes, so he was counting down the days to see Big Hero 6.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the team behind “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” comes “Big Hero 6,” an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax (voice of Scott Adsit), a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada (voice of Ryan Potter). When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago (voice of Jamie Chung), neatnik Wasabi (voice of Damon Wayans Jr.), chemistry whiz Honey Lemon (voice of Genesis Rodriguez) and fanboy Fred (voice of T.J. Miller). Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called “Big Hero 6.”-Disney

So we all went as a family to see this movie. It was a huge hit with everyone. Even my 2 year old sat through the entire movie without getting restless or bored (that is a huge deal). It takes a lot to get her to sit still so it really is a testament to just how entertaining this movie is. Both kids LOVED everything about the movie and have still been talking about it days later, they want to go see it again in theaters. When the movie ended my son said “Baymax and Hiro are now my favorite Super Heroes!”.
I loved the story and it flows well. I like that it is a movie you can take the whole family to, all ages. Those are the best movies for me as a mom.
Both my husband and I found the movie funny and it had us laughing more than I would have expected. I loved that I never lost interest (nor did my kids) and was constantly captivated. It is so well done. Disney created another hit movie with Big Hero 6! It is fantastic and I can’t recommend it enough.
Big Hero 6 is rated PG for action and peril, some rude humor, and thematic elements.
This is a movie you HAVE TO take the whole family to. Everyone will love it! Be sure to stay through the credits because there is a fun surprise at the end.
Also, the new Disney Short Feast plays before the movie and it is SO VERY ADORABLE! I just love this short.
