I attended a free blogger event to see this exhibit with no obligation or requirement to post. All opinions are my own.
I was very excited when Today’s Mama invited me to the blogger Animal Jam Party at the Body Worlds Animal Inside Out Exhibit in Salt Lake City. Not only did I get to attend but my whole family got to come.
My husband and I saw the Body Worlds Bodies exhibit years ago and it was amazing to see. So I couldn’t wait to see the animal version, and to share it with my kids.
“Explore the intricate biology, zoology and physiology of the world’s most spectacular creatures, large and small in this fascinating new exhibition by BODY WORLDS creator, anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens.
ANIMAL INSIDE OUT takes you on an anatomical safari of more than 100 specimens. Each animal is painstakingly preserved by the remarkable process of Plastination, invented by Dr.von Hagens.
Discover the form and function of animals both exotic and familiar, from goats and giraffes to octopi and ostriches. Animal biology textbooks spring to life in this unforgettable museum learning experience.”
Upon entering the exhibit we saw this sign that informed us that no animals were harmed.
Seeing all of the animals was fascinating! My kids enjoyed seeing all of the animals and how they look inside.
I loved how educational it was for them. My son was especially excited because they had parts of humans as well. He really liked seeing what he looks like inside as well.
The exhibit was so awesome to see and I highly recommend taking your family to see it! It even has a giraffe and a camel. So cool!
The Animal Inside Out Exhibit will be at the Leonardo Museum in Salt Lake City until September 1, 2014.
