Well hello there lovely BraggingMommy Readers! I am really excited to get the chance to share with all of you the experience my family had at BounceU for Taylors 5th Birthday Party! Taylor is my oldest son with my husband, Kevin, and up until this year we have always celebrated birthdays with a family cookout. This year Taylor had started Pre-K, so now he had friends that he wanted to come celebrate his birthday with us. He really wanted to have a birthday party this year like some of the other kids were having. I was fortunate that BounceU had offered us a birthday party package to review at the exact time I caved in to his party pleas and had started my search for a location to hold the best birthday party ever! It was just the right review offer at just the right time you could say. I nearly jumped out of my chair with happiness and excitement as I accepted the offer! All the pieces were coming together to make this a very special 5th birthday for my very special guy!

The BounceU Premier-15 Party Package includes:

-An Open Bounce Pass for Birthday Child
The Premiere-15 Party Package was for 15 kids including our children which was a perfect size party for us! I was still stressed over one issue. BounceU was located about 30 minutes away from where we live and I was worried that parents would not want to drive there kids 30 minutes away and no one would show up. I solved this by renting a little party bus to take us and any friends that wanted to ride to BounceU in style with us! I wanted to make sure that this was a day Taylor would never forget! With everything being taken care of by BounceU I was happily done planning everything for the party and did not really need to stress at all. They really do offer every detail so us moms can take a break for once.
The BounceU staff takes over the party pretty much the moment you step in the door. They show the children a video about safety and get them excited about going into the rooms to play in the rooms they have set up. The kids get to enjoy time playing in 2 separate rooms that are set up with “giant inflatable structures” similar to what I would call a moon bounce. The second room is illuminated with black lights, so they gave the children glow necklaces for them to wear in order for the adults to keep track of all the children. Normally these rooms are climate controlled and comfortable to be in, unfortunately on the day of Taylors party there was something wrong with their air conditioning and the bounce rooms were super hot. That did not stop the kids from having a great time at all though. The BounceU staff was really good at getting the children’s attention and directing them from room to room. The “inflatable structures” were great! They had a few TALL slides and a place to jump and play soccer. One of the slides had 2 lanes so you could race your friend down and the other had this crazy vertical obstacle course just to get up to the top! It was a perfect set up for a birthday party!
The BounceU Staff turned the lights on at the end of the hour of play time and led the sweaty, red cheeked, and hungry party guests into the party room. The party room was set up with 2 rows of tables with chairs. The table for the children was already set with plates and cups and at the head of the table was a large inflatable throne just for the birthday boy! Let me say that my son had been waiting for his turn to sit in that throne for so very long! He still sat down in a normal chair, not realizing that it was his turn, until the BounceU staff directed him to his throne of honor! He was so happy and I was a very proud mommy standing there watching my baby talk to his older brother, Cody, and all his friends about how much fun the slides were and how cool the black light had been. The BounceU staff was really great about not wasting time and started to serve the children pizza and fill their cups with whatever they wanted to drink. The premiere-15 Package does not include food or drinks for the adults so I made sure, when confirming the party details, to order pizza and sodas for them. It was a good thing I did that since it was all gone by the end of the party! BounceU does not make the pizza or cake themselves. The food is ordered from a place that is located nearby.
When it came time to light the candles on the cake and sing happy birthday to Taylor, the BounceU staff turned off the lights and turned on a black light and a laser light show that was directed on the walls! They walked over to Taylor with the cake lit up and lasers going in swirls all over the place and everything else was glowing and we all sang happy birthday to Taylor! It was really exciting for the kids and made it very magical. I had brought trick candles though and did not tell anyone. So when Taylor blew out the candles they lit back up and surprised everyone! I had tears in my eyes from laughing at the look of disbelief on Taylors face! He had never seen a candle relight itself before. It was really such a special moment in my opinion and very well put together by the BounceU staff with all the lighting effects they put together! I did not even have to help cut the cake or anything! The BounceU staff did it all and cleaned it all up for me too!
By the time it was all over, the kids were all wiped out and so was mommy! While the BounceU staff that were helping our party packed up the presents and the leftover food, I was given the invoice for the additional items i had asked for and anything that they had not included in their party offer. I was able to pay the bill while the BounceU staff helped my husband load it all into the PartyBus that was taking all of us home. We even had BounceU fun on the ride home because the goody bags that I purchased from them included inflatable hammers inside of them. You can only guess what exhausted 4 and 5 year old boys decided to do with inflatable hammers on a 30 minute ride home! Yes they beat everyone over the heads with them that they could reach! That is, until they all got their hammers taken away by the parents!
In the end Taylor had a great 5th birthday party and I definitely owe the credit to the staff at BounceU! They really did a great job from start to finish on making sure my sons special day really was special!
