I love adding DVDs to my children’s growing collection. I never want to hear the words “theres nothing to watch!” ever again from their little mouths. So when I was asked to review Thomas and Friends Railway Mischief on DVD I of course answered with a yes. I knew it would not take long for the Thomas and Friends Railway Mischief DVD to arrive so I planned on taking it with us for the kids to watch during the drive to Florida for Spring Break. Just as I had assumed, the Thomas and Friends DVD arrived before our trip and I was able to hide it up until the very last moment too!
As we started to pile into the van and the kids were all setting up their portable DVD players I hold up the new Thomas and Friends Railway Mischief DVD and say “Anyone interested in the brand new Thomas and Friends DVD?”. Immediately the boys all jumped out of their seats trying to get their hands on it first! It was a little funny to watch. I settled them down by playing it in the vans DVD system so that they could watch it together for the first time and then take turns with their own individual players afterwards. The drive down to florida was a fairly pleasant drive I will admit and I know that the first few hours was only pleasantly quiet because of Thomas and Friends Railway Mischief!
I grew up with Thomas and Friends. Now when I see the enjoyment and amazement that my children get from watching Thomas and Friends, it melts my heart and brings back my own memories. The new Thomas and Friends Railway Mischief DVD brings the same amazement look over my kids faces as they watch it. Having all new episodes to watch on DVD and learning that listening to other peoples advice can save you from trouble is a win-win situation for mommy and child. My children get to have fun watching episodes they have not seen yet and mommy is happy that maybe they will learn a life lesson in the process! Thomas and Friends is definitely one of the more mommy approved shows that my children watch.
Cinders and Ashes! There’s trouble on the tracks for Thomas and his friends. Gordon and Cranky don’t want to listen to really useful advice from Paxton and Kevin. Scruff, Winston and Stafford lose track of themselves, causing confusionand delay! Sometimes engines need a little help from their friends to chuff and puff full steam ahead!
