If you would have told me as a little girl watching Power Rangers with my brother, that my kids would be so unbelieveably obsessed with them someday, I’d be so shocked. Who knew the show was going to last for so many years? I honestly can not explain how obsessed my boys are with Power Rangers, and how excited they were to receive our Power Rangers Turbo Volume 1 Three DVD Box Set. While I have to admit I don’t particularly enjoy watching the show myself, they obviously know just what they’re doing. How many series/seasons are there? 324,543? They know how to appeal to kids, and they do it well. The thing I love about Power Rangers, is how my kids use it in their play. They are boys. Boys are naturally drawn to fighting, swords, and battles. I’m honestly telling you my boys play Power Rangers for hours, and hours, and hours. One of my friends once asked after watching my oldest do is Power Ranger moves “Oh, does he do Karate?” I laughed. “No, thats just from watching Power Rangers.” But what I love is that they don’t fight each other, they just stand next to each other doing the “hi-ya”ing fighting an imaginary nemisis.
They absolutely loved this DVD box set. It has all 23 episodes of the first episodes! Awesome. They have watched it over and over and it’s a great one to add to our collection.
