I hope that some of our readers have gotten to know by now that my family loves to share saturday nights together and watch a DVD together. So when I was asked to review Max & Ruby: Everybunny Loves Spring! I was happy to accept. I really do enjoy seeing the smiles on my children’s face when we get a DVD in the mail that is just for them. It is really sweet to see how special it makes them feel to open up something that was sent to the house and realize that it was sent for them to watch. Well, I knew this time that Juliana would be the one that would appreciate Max & Ruby the most. Although Taylor enjoys watching just about any cartoon, Juliana has always really liked watching Max & Ruby. I think she may relate to Ruby because she has a baby brother as well.
So we received Max & Ruby: Everybunny Loves Spring! and right away both Taylor and Juliana try to claim it as their own. I had to convince them that the first 6 episodes belonged to Taylor and the rest were Juliana’s. That worked to calm them down and I was able to open up the packaging. We decided since this was not a movie that it would go into our weekend day time cartoon DVD rotation. This is also a snow day DVD as well. We have had a lot of snow this winter so we had a snow day actually the day after we received Max & Ruby: Everybunny Loves Spring! so we watched it right away. The kids really enjoyed watching Max & Ruby enjoying springtime and it made them realize how ready they were for winter to be over. Ruby’s Earth Day Party was Taylors favorite episode on the DVD. He really liked how Max had a baby duckling following him around. Then Max brought the duckling back to mommy duck. I thought that was cute as well to watch the little duck follow max around like he was the mommy duck. We really did enjoy watching Max & Ruby: Everybunny Loves Spring! on our snow day! It helped to keep us warm!
