I remember playing with my play kitchen as a child. It was always so much fun. So I wanted to get one for my little girl. But since she is a toddler I wasn’t sure that she was ready for a play kitchen just yet. That was until Little Tikes offered to send us their Cook ‘n Grow Kitchen for review.
“You will have an inspiring little chef with this realistic kid’s kitchen playset that grows with your child. When this Little Tikes kitchen is opened it is the perfect height for toddlers. When the kitchen is compacted it is now the perfect size for your preschooler to cook your dinner.”-Little Tikes
I was so happy to find the Little Tikes Cook ‘n Grow Kitchen which is perfect for my toddler. I couldn’t wait to put it together. It was very simple to assemble and took me about 20 minutes total.
The first step is to apply all the stickers.
Next you put on the stove tops, knobs, and sink faucet. One of the stove tops requires 2 AA batteries (not included). The stove top makes noise. It will make a sizzling sound if you put the skillet on it and it will make a bubbling sound if you put the pot on it. It’s very cute and something my little one loves!
Then you screw the white wall into the grey sink/stove top. Once you’ve done that you slide the red pieces (oven & fridge) onto the grey sink/stove top.
And you have this adorable kitchen that is the perfect size for a toddler.
When it’s time to put it into the taller kitchen set up you take off the red pieces (fridge & oven) and remove the white piece (which is conveniently stored behind the fridge) and slide it between the fridge and oven to hold them together.
Then you snap the grey sink/stove top onto the 2 red pieces. It is a very simple transition and only takes me a couple of minutes to do.
This set up is more compact and is great for an older child.
It comes with these 26 accessories.
My toddler immediately fell in love and had spent hours playing with her new kitchen. She loves that it is all at her height so she has no trouble reaching anything.
Probably her favorite accessory it came with is the phone. She loves to pretend she is talking on it. It even has a place it hangs up on the side of the white wall.
Even her older brother (who is 6) has been enjoying the kitchen with her and they have some great “cooking” playtime sessions together.
This kitchen is perfect for my toddler but also something she will continue to play with for years, I’m a big fan of it and so is she!
We are loving this play kitchen that grows with your child at our home!
