I love growing our children’s DVD collection so when I was asked to review Pound Puppies: Holiday Hijinks on DVD I could not review. Now I am an 80’s girl, turning 29 for the third time next year, so I grew up with pound puppies. They were the best stuffed animals that I loved to collect. My brother and I woke up every saturday early so we could climb into the bed in the guest room and watch saturday morning cartoons. One of our favorites was Pound Puppies! I can not believe they have brought them back! It is always so heart warming for me to watch my children enjoy the same cartoons that I enjoyed as a child. It makes me remember how it felt being that age and I almost want to cry! My daughter seems to love the Pound Puppies just as much as I did at her age!
Juliana was so excited when the Pound Puppies: Holiday Hijinks DVD arrived! She was running around hugging it all day until we put it in the DVD player for her to watch! Her favorite episode to watch on the DVD was “I Heard The Barks On Christmas Eve”! She kept stopping it right before it ended and starting it over from the beginning! It got to be a little crazy! We watched Lucky, Niblet, Squirt, Rebound, Strudel, and Cookie try to make sure every pet had a family of their own for the holidays over and over again! I would say this DVD was a keeper in our home and is actually playing right now! Its got us in the holiday spirit and now Juliana is all ready to start decorating the house and making sure her stuffed animals are happy! How cute!
