Leah really loves to express herself through Art. I am always finding her coloring or being artistic. So when we received the Magna Color Drawing Board, we couldn’t wait to get started! We also received the 2 additional colors which were pink and blue, each in seperate packs and each contained 8 stencils.
First off what I really love about the Magna Color Drawing Board is that the Magna Color Drawing Board now works with an iPad App! You don’t need to own an iPad in order to play with this toy, it just brings the art to life on the iPad screen. Leah actually really enjoyed just playing around with the different stencils we received, but when we showed her that her Cheetah she created could come to life, she was thrilled!

The first thing we did was open it up and pour all of the magic dots onto the magnetic drawing studio. I poured them out and Charlotte help me sweep them with the screen sweeper! Then you magically shake and all the dots start falling into their correct pens! I will say we learned to later work at the kitchen table because some of the dots fell into the carpet and may have gotten lost.
Next we let Leah choose which stencil she wanted, her favorite animal is the Cheetah which came in the additional pack with the pink pen. Leah was really good about pushing softly down on the dot pen so that just one dot would fall out. It is really simple to use because it shows you which colors go where. But Leah is really
creative to she decided to mix up the colors and do her own thing. Once all the dots were on the page then we downloaded the app which is free! The app is a great add on to this fun toy, becuase it literally brings the animals to life. Leah’s favorite part was when the Cheetah was walking around and you could add it to the jungle! Once the animal is added you can keep adding other animals as well.
Leah was really excited and we did the monkey next, he was super cute swinging from the vines!
