What kid doesn’t like to play with mom and dad’s camera? I know mine do. We find our smartphone camera’s loaded with random pictures of feet, close up faces, and a whole lotta nothin’! My son put his claim on this camera the moment it arrived on our doorstep! We opened it up and immediately put batteries in it so he could play around. Unfortunately, mom got a little preoccupied with the fun camera ;). Eventually I let my son do his thing, but the Playskool Showcam is a really fun little toy! Not only does it take pictures, but you can add silly effects to your photos. Effects such as crazy hair, animal faces/ears, and action cartoons. After my son took all the photos his little heart desired, we flipped a switch so we could project the pictures. It was a fun way to see all the silly photos he had taken.

The Playskool Showcam 2-in-1 Camera and Projector is perfect for little fingers. The buttons are easy to push and it didn’t take long for my son to figure out which buttons are for each action. The camera is pretty heavy duty and this has been proven by how many times we have dropped it since we have had it. It hasn’t received a nick or scratch and that is important when you have kids. Another great thing about this camera is that you can connect it to a USB cable to print or email the pictures. Of course, the quality of the pictures isn’t extremely high, but for a kids camera, it is fine. This camera comes in the color you see in the pictures, and also a white/pink/purple if your child prefers those colors. We love the Playskool Showcam 2-in-1 Camera and Projector!!
