We were sent a whole set of the Superbook DVD’s to review. There are 14 episodes and it has been great watching them with my 5 year old son. He loves watching them and has learned so much from them.
I love how they don’t just tell the stories from the Bible but they incorporate it into this modern day. Each story has a lesson that the kids learn from the Bible story and we watch them apply it.
In each episode the 2 kids and Gizmo get taken back in the past by Superbook where they watch the Bible story take place first hand. Then they return home and apply the lesson they learned.
These episodes are a great way to teach my son the Bible and how to apply it to his life. Each episode is about 25 minutes long and they are able to keep my son’s attention the whole time.
Each DVD also has a Family Discussion Guide inside. I really like this because it has Bible verses from the episode and helps parents discuss the episode and Bible story.
I love that I have the series on DVD in my home so my son can watch it anytime he wants, and he has been watching it a lot which is great. I highly recommend this Superbook series to anyone looking to teach children about God’s love and the stories from the Bible.
