“Tired of being uncomfortable while you’re nursing? Born Free has developed the most innovative nursing pillow on the market: the Bliss Feeding Pillow. This unique three-stage feeding pillow is fully customizable for your needs, and provides the right height for feeding every baby.”
- At the first stage, mom uses the Born Free Bliss Feeding Pillow, Nurture Boost, and a newborn mat—this slightly firmer surface helps baby stay awake while feeding.
- For the second stage, mom uses the Feeding Pillow and Nurture Boost—a small pillow that allows you to give baby just that perfect incline for feeding. And even better: it can be used on the left or right to accommodate your feeding needs.
- By the third stage, growing babies can use the Feeding Pillow on its own. This contoured pillow offers the comfort of just-right height for mom and baby during feeding.
- For easier care, a selection of machine-washable slipcovers is also available (sold separately).
I am currently breastfeeding my baby girl and I was really excited to try out the Bliss Feeding Pillow. My baby is already 8 months (wow the time has flown by) so I am sad that I didn’t have this pillow when she was a newborn and so tiny. The newborn mat (which is separate from the pillow itself provides such a sturdy and great support for feeding a small baby and it’s firm so it is designed to keep baby awake during feedings. It would have been ideal to have back then.
But I am still able to use the nursing pillow and have enjoyed it. I like that it is really big and provides a tall support lining up my 8 month old perfectly at my breast. I also like the nurture boost pillow (which is the small pillow on the bottom). It hooks onto the bottom of the pillow with Velcro and can be used on either side. It gives baby an incline while feeding. When I use the nurture support on the side baby is feeding she lines up perfectly and I can do a hands free feed. Meaning she lays on the pillow not needing me to hold her head and I can use both hands to do things (like eat, or read a book, or answer emails on my phone).
I like the adorable slip cover patterns available, and was happy to get a pink and very girl damask print.
This pillow is also great for bottle fed babies. It will give you, daddy, & any care giver a more comfortable way to hold baby while feeding.
