I love the JJ Cole Collections Car Seat Canopy. When Bug was born 4 years ago I used to just throw a blanket over the top of his infant seat when we went out. Well that never worked as the blanket would fall and it made it awkward to carry. This infant car seat cover straps onto the handle of the car seat with velcro straps so it is not in the way of the handle while carrying. The elastic around the whole bottom gives it a snug fit on the car seat so it will stay on well.
I really like that it is a lightweight and breathable fabric so baby gets airflow even when it is shut.
I think having your baby covered (especially in the early months) is really important. Not only to protect them from the elements but also from strangers who like to touch. Keeping them away from germs as well.
It has velcro closures along the front so you can undo them to check on baby as well as open it all the way to get baby in and out. I love that you don’t have to remove the cover to do that.
