Styling my hair straight with a flat iron is a big job! I need a flat iron that will give me the smooth look I want, in an acceptable amount of time! I use to use a 2 inch flat iron, and now that my hair is long, it worked fine.  But it was not the greatest for when my hair was cut in an A-line. I really love the look of this new Conair styling tool. It is a deep purple, and is really sleek-looking. Also, it is so thin and light. I couldn’t help but think about how easy it will be to travel with!! I was excited to straighten my hair with it and was impressed with the results. The iron heated up very quickly and it gets super hot. I can’t say that it straightened my hair any quicker than my old iron, but it did a comparable job and I am happy with that. The best thing about this flat iron is that I can get right up next to my head because it is only 1 inch wide. I can also curl with it….but I need a little practice in that area .

It works great in my girls’ hair too! The one inch size is a so much easier to use on them. Especially with my 4 year old because her hair is short. I like knowing that the Tourmaline Ceramic is less damaging to their fine hair. And the fact that it has Automatic shut-off makes this iron even better (I am known to forget to unplug my hair styling products).
